Rock Tf out

One thing I love, is dressing up something casual, like my band tee featured above. Def Leppard is an English rock band from the 80's, most people know their song "Rock of Ages." Growing up I was blessed to have a cousin that introduced me to all types of music. When I was about 8 years old I was already listening to Van Halen, Metallica, Nirvana just to name a few. I started buying band tees when I was about 18 attending Blink 182 and No Doubt concerts with my co-workers. Concert tees have always sort of been acceptable dressed down attire. In the past few years we have seen music and fashion intertwined more than ever. Think about it Kanye-Yeezy, Beyonce-Ivy Park, Rihanna-Fenty, etc...The influence artist have over fashion has grown along side social media, as we have more and more access to our favorite musician. As with all fashion trends what was once a tee for $20 became a tee for $200 as we started seeing these musicians rocking band tees. Street fashion, trickled up, to high fashion, and back down to street fashion again.

Rock TF out

Now you can find your favorite bands tee just about anywhere, occasionally I even browse over into the men's section of wherever I am because theres's usually a band tee or two. For a night just hanging out with friends I chose my Def Leppard tee, High waist black leather pants that I tucked my tee into to show off the buttons and dress up the look. These yellow suede skull MacQueen pumps were the perfect bad ass compliment to my band tee. I love this outfit because it was comfortable, easy to wear, but still dressy enough to go out. Leave me a comment below with your thoughts, or how you rock your band tee. As always thanks for reading
